Roy Halliday to Philles and Cliff Lee Gone?

I honestly don't like the decision that puts Lee in a situation where he would be out the door and in Seattle if Roy Halliday were to play in philly. I mean its great they are trying to bring Halliday in, but i hate to see Lee go. he was the best acquisition by any team at the trade Deadline. Ruban Amaro Jr.'s decision to bring in Halliday is great, but at the same time, it sucks. So i guess you can call it Bitter Sweet. Comment with your opinions. GO PHILS

K-OS Drops New Album 11/17

HIP HOP VISIONARY K-OS SET TO DIGITALLY RELEASE YES! THIS NOVEMBER
Yes! to Make U.S. Debut via iTunes On November 17

With Physical Release to Follow on February 23, 2010

K-OS

Canadian rapper and multi-instrumentalist K-OS is set to release his acclaimed third album, Yes! (Last Gang Records), online starting November 17 exclusively through iTunes, with other digital platform downloads available November 23. The physical release of Yes! will follow on February 23, 2010.

With its innovative, multi-genre sound, Yes! is pure magic. Hot on the heels of its Canadian release earlier this year, K-OS’ new album is already making waves in America with lead single “4,3,2,1,” of which the video can currently be seen in rotation on MTVU and on MTV2′s Subterranean. In addition to the album’s first single, the release includes standout tracks “Burning Bridges,” “I Wish I Knew Natalie Portman,” and “Uptown Girl,” which feature special guest collaborations from Metric‘s Emily Haines and Murray Lightburn from The Dears.

With several multi-platinum album and video awards, six Canadian Urban Music Awards, four MuchMusic Video Awards, three Junos, and a Source award already in his trophy cabinet, K-OS continues to push the boundaries as one of Canada’s most distinctive, intriguing and creative talents. First making the mark on the U.S. music scene with his Astralwerks debut Exit, the release quickly announced K-OS’ pigeonhole-defying capabilities. His subsequent albums, Joyful Rebellion and Atlantis: Hymns for Disco, have gone on to cement his position among the most intriguing and creative talents at work in Canada today.

K-OS’ full length album is slated for release February 23, 2010 and will be followed by an extensive tour of the U.S.
